But I think otherwise; of course I’ve had a long love affair with pearls after all, they are natures gift from the sea. So if your go to look leans into a more casual style … linen, lived-in denim, & a crisp white shirt then pearls are you new best friend.

The pearls I love working with aren’t all perfectly round, or overly polished. I’m talking baroque, irregular, full of soul. These natural shapes bring texture to a simple outfit, whether a single pearl on a necklace or dangling from sterling silver hoops filled with textured and patina, it says: I’m effortless, but casual cool.

One of my favorite combinations are pearls with richly texture sterling silver enhanced with a beautiful patina. The softness of the pearls against the depth of the darkened silver creates a contrast that’s bold enough to add that bit of edge.
